One UI 7, based on Android 15, has been released with the S25 series in recent weeks. Immediately afterwards, Galaxy users around the world started to wait eagerly for this new version to come to their phones. However, the fact that not even one model has received an update yet has started to worry users. Here are the details!

Samsung Users Expect Android 15 Based One UI 7 Update

Samsung, one of the fastest and longest-supporting brands on the Android front, is about to lose its title. The company, which struggles to adapt Android 15-based One UI 7 to “old” phones, has yet to update even one phone to Android 15-based One UI 7.

There are three models using this version worldwide; Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. While this situation especially frustrates users with current flagship models such as the S24, there is no statement from Samsung yet, except “soon”. However, the picture is quite different for competitors.

Apple’s success in updating is well known. However, Samsung performs so badly with Android 15-based One UI 7 that even unnamed Chinese manufacturers are like Apple. In addition, Google’s rapid update of the Pixel series and the renewal of even mid-range models of brands such as OnePlus with Android 15 make things difficult for the company.

Experts attribute the delay to two possible reasons. The first is that the radical changes made with One UI 7 slow down and complicate the integration process. The other is that the company aims to increase sales by prioritizing new models such as the S25. Unfortunately, it is difficult to say which of these predictions is correct or whether they are both wrong.

The only thing we know for now is that the Android update problem, which we thought had been solved for a long time, is still not completely solved. Even when you buy the latest phone, you may find yourself wondering if the new version will come to my phone. It is also worth remembering that Android 16-based One UI 8 is on the way.
